This guitar offers a powerful yet lyrical sound, rich in overtones, with a quick attack and excellent projection.
Ennio Giovanetti is an Italian luthier who has been building classical guitars since 1998 in his workshop in Sariano di Gropparello, near Piacenza. He began his lutherie education in Milan, initially studying violin making, but eventually devoted himself entirely to the classical guitar after discovering its unique tonal and expressive potential.
In his pursuit of the ideal instrument, he drew inspiration from the work of legendary makers such as Antonio de Torres, Hermann Hauser, Enrique Garcia, and Francisco Simplicio. By exploring the construction principles of these masters, he combined violin-making knowledge with traditional guitar craftsmanship, striving to create the most “musical” instrument possible.
Although his guitars are built in the traditional manner, they stand out for their distinctive constructional solutions — one example is a specially shaped part of the bridge known as the tie block, which optimizes the string angle, enhancing vibration transfer and improving the instrument’s responsiveness.
