Jose Ramirez FL2 flamenco guitar

Jose Ramirez FL2 flamenco guitar 2000

This flamenco guitar sounds great due to its age, used materials and craftsmenship. Is extremly comfortble to play. The neck is slim and string action is low. I play it every day with Tomatito (hard tension) strings.
Has signs of use and two professionally healed crakcs (hence the price) but is  very comfortable to play and sounds great with all the flamenco “little tastes”.

The Ramirez family has been building excellent, high-quality guitars since 1882. Every generation of luthiers from this family added more and more value into the instruments resulting into the most impressive guitars of each period. Constantly experimenting, exploring and researching improvements and new ways of making guitars better and better.

Their instruments have been played and still are played by the world’s most famous guitarists, such as Julian Bream, Andrés Segovia, Laurindo Almeida, Oscar Ghiglia, Jose Luis Gonzales to mention a few. Ramírez is an important part of the history of guitar making. José Ramírez I (1858-1923) trained a large number of guitar designers in his workshop at the beginning of the 20th century. And José Ramírez III (1922-1995) pioneered the use of cedar wood as guitar wood and built several guitars for Andrés Segovia.
