Turkowiak classical guitar #236 (2019) – video

  I am a proud owner of a Turkowiak double-top guitar purchased through Marcin Skawinski at the Happy Guitar in Olsztyn, Poland. The guitar is a piece of art with California Black Walnut Burl and Amber inlays on the crown and elevated fingerboard. The double top flamed Old-growth Redwood and Western Red Cedar combine for deep basses and forever-sustain.
I wanted something special for the rosette, understated but artistically beautiful. Turkowiak accomplished that with inlaid African Ebony and Amber. Beautiful!

  I do not normally do reviews unless I’ve had an awful experience or an incredibly pleasant one. I’m happy to say that when I purchased a Turkowiac acoustic from Marcin with Happy Guitar last month, my experience in the transaction was one of the latter. He is extremely responsive, trustworthy and clearly cares about the instruments he is selling. When the guitar was held up in customs because of the need for additional forms/documentation he responded immediately when required. Additionally, when I was billed customs/duty costs(that were included in the agreed upon costs of the guitar I paid to him), he sent me the money back immediately when I explained I was billed directly for those charges. Overall, I am so happy with the product and the process and would recommend transacting with Marcin to anyone looking for a quality guitar.

  I’m very pleased to receive the guitar of exquisite beauty made by Rafal Turkowiak in perfect conditions. It was made in 2020 and pre-owned but looks like bran new. The shop owner, Mr. Marcin Skawiński, kindly arranged the condition check by Turkowiak himself, and shipped it in the Luthier’s packaging case. He frankly informed me of the payment method and the transport via Facebook Messengers. So there was no communications gap between Poland and Japan. Only shortfall was the dead battery for the pickup ‘Seymour Duncan Wavelength Duo’ but it does work perfectly after changing them. Haha. So I appreciate the shop very much.

  I found Marcin trough a holy grail search for a high end classical guitar at an affordable price. I found a beautiful used Raimundo 180 classical guitar at his store in new condition.
